Story STEAM Projects and Scratch Coding Club Combo
Our first theme across Story STEAM, Scratch Coding Club (and Lego Club) is 'Vikings & Dragons' based on the story of 'How to Train Your Dragon' by Cressida Cowell.
Story STEAM projects and Scratch Coding are both suitable for children aged 8+.
Each week during term time, Hannah guides children through the STEAM project and themed challenges in coding. Projects are designed to develop STEAM skills, problem-solving, logic, creativity and confidence, while keeping things fun and engaging.
What’s Included:
- Pre-recorded creative sessions released each week during term time, building up into a library and yours to keep while you’re a member.
- Live follow-up sessions to ask questions, share projects and get inspired by others.
- WhatsApp group for parents and carers.
- Gallery and collaboration areas so that members can see other children's projects.
- Personalised certificate upon completion of each block.
Please note:
* The last live session this term is 2nd July.
* There will be a live 'code-along' on 23rd July open to all academy members and a live taster session on 27th August.
* The Autumn term officially starts on 15th September with Coding going live on Wednesdays at 3pm.

Terms and Conditions for Class Sign-Up
By booking a place on classes or clubs, you agree to the following:
1. No Cancellations or Refunds
All bookings are final. We do not offer refunds or transfers for cancellations or changes in personal circumstances. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
2. Illness or Absence
If your child is unable to attend a live session due to illness or other commitments, we are unable to offer a refund, credit, or make-up class. But there are pre-recorded session so you'll never miss any content,
3. Class Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel a session (e.g. due to tutor illness or technical difficulties), we will offer an alternative date for catch up sessions.
4. Behaviour and Participation
We expect all participants to behave respectfully. If a child’s behaviour disrupts the class, we reserve the right to remove them without refund.
5. Cameras must be on at the start of a live session but can be turned off during the session if your children prefer this.
Collaboration and communication is encouraged so it is preferable for cameras to be on to ensure all children feel comfortable knowing who they are sharing a live session with.
