Welcome to a unique learning experience where young coders aged 8+ get to explore the world of digital creativity on screen and in the real world!
The Coding Club Combo brings together the best of both worlds - the Story STEAM Scratch Coding Club and the micro:bit Coding Club - for a playful, hands-on journey through games, stories and invention.
Scratch Coding Club
Create interactive games, animations and stories using Scratch – a beginner-friendly, coding platform. Each week, we dive into themed coding challenges inspired by imagination, stories, classic computer games and play. It’s ideal for children who love to bring their ideas to life on screen. No experience needed!

Micro:bit Coding Club
Take coding off the screen and into your hands with the micro:bit – a pocket-sized computer that lets you code real lights, sensors and sounds! With an outdoor-themed twist in the first block, our projects encourage kids to get curious about the world around them while learning the basics of physical computing.

Why Join Both?
Combining Scratch and micro:bit gives your child a well-rounded foundation in coding and computational thinking. They’ll build skills in both digital storytelling and real-world invention – while having loads of fun and creative freedom along the way!Scratch Coding and micro:bit both begin in the week of 28th April.
Pre-recorded tutorials and Scratch Scripts and MakeCode scripts will be uploaded to the 'Club Hub' membership area weekly. This is where you will find the link to live sessions too.
Live Scratch Coding sessions will be on Wednesdays* at 3pm and Micro:bit will be on Thursdays at 11am.
*Please note that the first live scratch Coding Club will be on Thursday 1st May at 3pm

- Pre-recorded creative coding sessions released each week during term time, building up into a library and yours to keep while you’re a member.
- Live follow-up sessions to ask questions, share projects and get inspired by others. (Limited to 10 families)

- WhatsApp group for parents and carers.
- Personalised certificate upon completion of each block.

Terms and Conditions for Class Sign-Up
By booking a place on classes or clubs, you agree to the following:
1. No Cancellations or Refunds
All bookings are final. We do not offer refunds or transfers for cancellations or changes in personal circumstances. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
2. Illness or Absence
If your child is unable to attend a live session due to illness or other commitments, we are unable to offer a refund, credit, or make-up class.
3. Class Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel a session (e.g. due to tutor illness or technical difficulties), we will offer an alternative date for catch up sessions.
4. Behaviour and Participation
We expect all participants to behave respectfully. If a child’s behaviour disrupts the class, we reserve the right to remove them without refund.
