A playful, imaginative learning space where stories spark curiosity and creativity across Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.

The Story STEAM Academy offers a unique blend of design-and-make projects, coding adventures and cultural discovery, all brought to life through engaging weekly sessions designed for children aged (approximately 7–12). Whether it’s building a robotic dragon, lighting up a festive lantern or exploring the myths of Japan, each club combines creativity, practical skills and storytelling magic.

✨ What’s Inside the Academy?✨

• STEAM Projects: Story-themed design and make projects that combine science, engineering, and art. Build catapults, make moving machines, and bring tales to life through hands-on exploration.

• Coding & micro:bit: Learn to code with fun, themed projects using Scratch and micro:bit — design animations, make interactive games, or code festive decorations with lights and music.

• Lego Club: Build and create around a new theme each week using the power of imagination and the magic of Lego. Share ideas, get inspired, and bring your ideas to life brick by brick.

• Origami: Discover the art of paper folding through seasonal and story-based creations. Make everything from mythical creatures to festival decorations, all while learning geometry and developing fine motor skills.

• Japan Club: A cultural journey through stories, crafts, language and traditions. Explore yokai, seasonal festivals, manga art and everyday life in Japan through fun, creative activities.

✨How It Works✨

Each club offers a mix of pre-recorded creative sessions and optional weekly live sessions. Pre-recorded content is released weekly and remains available in your member library for as long as you’re subscribed – so you can work at your own pace, revisit projects, or explore something new. Live sessions provide space to connect, share, and celebrate together in real time (please note: live sessions are not recorded).

The Story STEAM Academy is perfect for home-educating families, creative kids and anyone who loves to learn through doing. All activities are carefully designed to be inclusive, accessible and achievable with everyday materials. Kits are available to purchase for some projects from the shop.
