Story STEAM Design and Make Projects
Step into a world where imagination meets innovation! In these hands-on, story-led STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) sessions, children explore engaging tales and then bring elements to life through creative design and engineering challenges.
Each project is based on a captivating story from history, myth or original adventure. From building mechanical monsters to fairground rides, every session blends narrative inspiration with practical skills, encouraging problem-solving, creativity and curiosity.
With a mix of pre-recorded sessions and live interactive meet-ups, children age 7-12 (approx) can complete projects at their own pace and then come together to share their creations in a relaxed, supportive environment.

How it works
Each week during the live project, a new pre-recorded creative session is uploaded to your member portal. These guided videos walk your children step-by-step through each Story STEAM activity, allowing them to work at their own pace, in their own time.
Alongside the recordings, we run weekly live follow-up sessions where children can share what they’ve made, ask questions and explore new ideas together. These interactive sessions are a great opportunity for community, support, collaboration and celebration – but they won’t be recorded, so we encourage you to attend live if you need accountability. Live places are limited to 10 families per session.
All pre-recorded project guides remain available for as long as you’re a member, gradually building into a growing library of Story STEAM adventures you can revisit or catch up on at any time.
