The Story STEAM Lego Club is a fun, inspiring and inclusive online experience for children aged 6 –12 combining storytelling, creativity and engineering through Lego.
Our first pre-recorded block is all about ‘Vikings and Dragons’ inspired by the ‘How to Train Your Dragon‘ stories by Cressida Cowell. Hannah sets the scene for some epic builds. Longships, mythical creatures, catapults and more! See what other children have built via the gallery.

During term time, there’s a combination of pre-recorded sessions and live interactive meet-ups (Wednesdays 11am), children can build at their own pace and then come together to continue with their creations in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether they follow the theme or go their own creative way, there’s space for every builder to shine.

How it works:
🔸 Pre-recorded Sessions
Each week begins with a pre-recorded video, introducing the theme and creative challenge. Watch anytime – before or after the live session – to spark ideas to get building!
🔸 Join the Live Online Session (optional)
Children meet in a small group (max 15) every Wednesday at 11:00 am (during term time). These interactive sessions are a chance to share creations, connect with others and build along together.
🔸 Friendly, Flexible and Fun
Cameras should be on at the start of each live session to help everyone feel part of the group. Every child has the chance to share their builds if they’d like to, but there’s never any pressure. It’s all about creativity and community.
🔸Share pictures or videos of your children’s Lego creations – via the parents WhatsApp group for the gallery. These will appear in the pre-recorded session for feedback and to inspire others during the live sessions.
🔸All pre-recorded project guides remain available for as long as you’re a member, gradually building into a growing library of Lego inspiration that you can revisit or catch up on at any time.
