Inspiring Young engineers!

✨ 3 LIVE SPOTS LEFT FOR SEPTEMBER START!

This term’s live Story STEAM theme is THE FAIRGROUND!

In our hands-on, Story STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths) sessions, children explore engaging tales and then bring elements to life through creative design, technology and engineering challenges.

Each project is based on a captivating book, story from history, a myth or original adventure. From building mechanical moving pictures (like the Viking longship) to fairground rides (Autumn term), every project blends narrative inspiration with practical skills, encouraging problem-solving, creativity and curiosity.

With a mix of pre-recorded sessions and live interactive meet-ups (Wednesdays 1pm), children age 8-14 (approx) can complete projects at their own pace and then come together to share their creations in a relaxed, supportive environment.

🔹Small Group Experience: Live sessions are limited to 15 families
🔹Learn through play: Engaging weekly sessions for accountability and collaboration
🔹 Develop STEAM skills: Creativity, problem-solving and invention
🔹Easy to source materials* or there are kits available for most projects.

How it works

When you join, you’ll gain access to our full library of pre-recorded tutorials from past Story STEAM projects. These step-by-step videos guide your child through creative, hands-on activities at their own pace and in their own time.

Each term, we launch a brand-new project. Live sessions run during term time in two 5-week blocks, with a break for half term. Children can make along with the group, ask questions, and explore new ideas together in a supportive, interactive environment. Live places are limited to a maximum of 15 families per session to keep things personal and engaging.

Can’t make the live sessions? Prefer to work flexibly? No problem. Weekly pre-recorded tutorials are available throughout each project, and there are always opportunities to share creations for feedback, ask questions, or collaborate with others in our creative community. Want to complete a library project? Great! Join now and access the growing library of STEAM projects to work through at a pace that suits your child.

Your membership includes ongoing access to all past project guides – building a rich, growing library of Story STEAM projects to revisit or catch up on anytime.
